Hello Lincoln,
Believe it or not it is only two weeks before term is officially over! Thankfully we have kept some of the most exciting social events for last, so make sure you sign up and show up for some of the best pre-Christmas banter you have ever experienced. MCR Dinner "German Christmas Market", Tuesday 22nd November, 7pm, MCR All those coming to dinner on Tuesday have been notified. See you in the MCR at 7pm for some pre-dinner drinks! Thanksgiving, Thursday 24th November, 7pm, MCR Whether or not you are American, if you have something to be thankful for (and I suspect we all do), make your way to the MCR next Thursday for a great potluck Thanksgiving feast! Please take a look at this sheet and see if there is anything you would like to cook/bake/bring along. Of course this list is not exhaustive; if there is something different you would to bring, then the more variety the better! Brunch, Sunday 27th November (Week 8), 11.30am, MCR Come over to the MCR next Sunday for some delicious (and free) brunch prepared for you by your social team! This will involve fresh waffles, homemade maple syrup (made by Glenn, AKA Mr Vermont, himself), smoked salmon, bagels, and so much more! MCR CHRISTMAS DINNER SIGN UP!!!!!! Friday 2nd November (Week 8) If you are going to make one dinner in college this year, make sure that it is this one. Sitting in hall packed with Christmas decorations, a Christmas three, crackers, and a lit fireplace is as close as you will ever get to having dinner in Hogwarts. The great food and the magical atmosphere, followed by carol singing in hall accompanied by mulled wine make it one of our favourite events of the year. Thankfully, you still have time to sign up until 10pm tonight! Trust us, you will not want to miss out! XOXO, MCR Social Team [Lewis Arthurton, Michael Ben Yehuda, Glenn Cahilly-Bretzin, Lucie Kaempfer, Jess Milligan, Mat Veal]
