Welcome to Deep Hall

Deep Hall, or Deepers, is Lincoln College’s subterranean bar and the second place where students can eat. Cosy and relaxed with little nooks and crannies to hide yourself in, it is a great place to come and grab a light lunch or drink after dinner. It is located directly below the Main Hall, and is accessible via Staircase 10 or from The Grove. The Bar Manager Simon and Laura are in charge. Deepers is subsidised so is far cheaper than any non-college bar or coffee shop in Oxford.

Opening Times
Coffee, Tea and Pastries: 10am until 12PM (Monday to Friday)
Lunch: 12pm until 1:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Evenings (Drinks): 6pm until 11pm (Monday to Saturday)
Closed on Sundays​

Rules & Reminders
  • The College guest rule only allows you to bring 3 non-Lincoln guests to Deep Hall.  You must accompany them in Deep Hall, and you are responsible for their behaviour.
  • Please do not bring your own food or drink into Deep Hall – it kind of defeats the point of Simon & Laura being here!
  • All  food, crisps, soft drinks, coffee and confectionery can be paid for using your Bod Card with your kitchen charge.
  • Alcohol CANNOT be purchased on your Bod Card with your kitchen charge.  
  • Deep Hall accepts cash, debit & credit card payments.
