Welcome to seventh week. Thank you to everyone who came along for ceramic painting, such a great afternoon! This week, get ready for a particular colourful welfare email, just in time for the dark and grey sky outside. You are very welcome to contact Rose, me or any other member of the welfare team if you are bothered by something.
8. Peers of colour
Peers of colour is a group of peer supporters with special focus on supporting students from an ethnic minority. This group has been founded this summer and is picking up a lot of momentum at the moment. If you are seeking help or if you are interested in the everyday challenges faced by ethnic minorities in Oxford we would like to encourage you to contact them (firstname.lastname@example.org) and have an eye on their Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/oxunipoc/).
9. Ideas for self-care
Do you feel as if things are going too fast and all the tasks are just pilling up? Then it is especially important to take some care of yourself. Find some useful tips here: https://www.blurtitout.org/2015/08/26/19-ideas-for-self-care/ This is from last year but we seriously do not think it will ever be out-dated.
At last, check how beautiful and colourful the cold autumn can be: http://www.forestry.gov.uk/forestry/autumntop10 Check out University parks, it looks very similar at the moment.
This is all from us for now. We wish you a wonderful week,
Rose and Jochen
P.S.: This week treat yourself to something amazing and try this: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/baked-pumpkin-fondue I literally do not know how to describe it, it is just awesome…
